I asked my mom “how can people destroy others with no remorse or guilt!!!"
I asked my mom “how can people destroy others with no remorse or guilt” and she told me “you will never understand them because your hearts aren’t the same.”
To greet someone with love, to call them a brother, to consider them your own blood, for them to kill you with no remorse, is something I will never understand or comprehend.
I’ve studied psychology, I’ve observed human behaviour, but there’s a part of my that’s in denial that humans can be so capable of such destruction, yet it happens around us every single day.
They say the world is so evil that it’s surprising if you encounter any good, but I guess I will always remain a dreamer and be in denial that someone you call your brother, your best friend, can kill you, step on your body and leave you dead.
I refuse to let this world make my heart turn cold and that’s what’s pushed me to do humanitarian aid.
Without love, evil will always prevail...
May Allah keep evil away from us!
This incident in New Zealand happened a year ago but I’m still shocked every time I think of it...
